Man... it's been so long since I've made a journal entry. I believe I haven't made one of these since, what, 2018? Time sure flies.
But now let's talk about why I'm here.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. A cartoon that has become a special part of so many people's lives. What first seemed like a cartoon that would only be enjoyed by the little girls this franchise was always targeted towards, was able to draw in a crowd of fans of all ages, and was able to unite many people, and become integral part of their lives. I think it's safe to say that this show has become an integral part of our lives... and I want to check it out again.
The reason I'm doing this is because I feel I haven't been fair to this show as it is. Sometimes I felt I was too harsh on episodes that aren't as bad as I thought, and other times I was too generous on episodes that are far mor problematic than I remembered. And I feel this show deserves a much more detailed and proper review of it as a whole. Which is why I want to do a little something special for it.
For this series, I'm gonna review each season, episode by episode, analyzing and each and one of them, and then give my overall thoughts on the season, the characters, and the story overall. Hopefully, this will be a fun experience for all of us, and it makes me appreciate this show more.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. A cartoon that has become a special part of so many people's lives. What first seemed like a cartoon that would only be enjoyed by the little girls this franchise was always targeted towards, was able to draw in a crowd of fans of all ages, and was able to unite many people, and become integral part of their lives. I think it's safe to say that this show has become an integral part of our lives... and I want to check it out again.

Sometimes I felt I was too harsh on episodes that aren't as bad as I thought, and other times I was too generous on episodes that are far mor problematic than I remembered. And I feel this show deserves a much more detailed and proper review of it as a whole. Which is why I want to do a little something special for it.
For this series, I'm gonna review each season, episode by episode, analyzing and each and one of them, and then give my overall thoughts on the season, the characters, and the story overall. Hopefully, this will be a fun experience for all of us, and it makes me appreciate this show more.

1) What crossover do you want to see happen?
A: Nickelodeon X Cartoon Network: Crossover Nexus - One day un the multiverse, The Land of Ooo is attacked by a strange human named Denzel Crocker, and is up to Finn and Jake to stop him before he drains the Land of its magic. Suddenly, two boy geniuses named Jimmy Neutron and Dexter, come through a universal portal to help them stop the villain. Once they defeat him, they inform the Heroes of Ooo of an emergency in the multiverse. The Mawgu, a monster Jimmy and his friends defeated a while back, is back to infect all the universes. But this time, he's not alone, since he's receiving the help of a mysterious company named Black Hat Organization, which has been recruting villains from all across the multiverse to finally defeat the heroes and conquer all of existence, and Crocker was a part of this evil plan. Now, it all depends on Finn, Jake, and all the heroes from those different worlds to defeat the Mawgu and Black Hat Organization, and save the Multiverse.

A: 2010's. It feelz like the most innovative and progressive decade of the bunch.
3) Our world is now being merged with that of monsters and other horrid creatures. What do you do?
A: Beat the heck out of the people responsible for it... and maybe adjust to it.
4) Favorite ship?
A: Rigby and Eileen.
5) What was your ultimate "I told you so" moment?
A: One time I was at a trip with my dad, and he made a turn where he shouldn't have. I told him not to go, but he didn't listen.
6) What show did you like a kid but dislike as an adult?
A: Dora The Explorer.
7) Vice versa. What show did you dislike as a kid but like as an adult?
A: Avatar: The Last Airbender... I was a dumb kid.

1.) What do you wanna do/be when you grow up?
A: An animator, or at least a storyboard artist.
2.) Which of your favorite cartoons/shows do you wish you be in theaters?
A: Honestly, either Avatar: The Last Airbender or Gravity Falls. I think those two could work for an animated movie (IF done properly.)
3.) If you were a monster, what would you be and why?
A: A creature from the Monsters Inc. Universe. Because all the monsters there seem like decent people (with a few exceptions, bit still.)
4.) If you were to create your own cartoon series, what would it be called and what would your cast of original characters be?
A: Wild World. It's about a zebra named Zack and a skunk named Henry who work as detectives in a world where people are animals and animals are people.
5.) What do you like to dream about?
A: Normally I don't dream when I sleep, but I prefer dreams that are more grounded to reality.
6.) Name one or a few things that stresses you out completely.
A: Working under pressure, and being around in public for too long.
7.) If you had the power to control time, what's one thing you would want to change in the past?
A: To make sure Hugo Chavez never becomes president of Venezuela.
8.) Who's your most and least favorite voice actor/actress?
A: I don't have a specific least favorite on either account. But if we're talking favorites, I'd say Tom Kenny and Tara Strong. As for latin american voice actors, I'd go with Humberto Velez and Cristina Hernandez.
9.) What makes you laugh and why?
A: Witty humor, when done properly. Maybe because of the situation is used.
10.) Are there times where you wish that traditional hand/digital ink and cel animation would still be going on again even though other animators prefer using computers?
A: Honestly, I'd rather have variety. It would be nice to see CGI, stop-motion and traditional coexisting together rather than one medium dominating the market. As for the computer thing... I'd say using computers makes the job easier, and technology always advances. So... not really.

1) If you could remake any bad cartoon (that isn't a reboot/ spin off) to be good, which one would it be?
A: Perhaps Mysticons or Mixels. They sound like interesting concepts botched by a sloppy execution. For Mysticons, I would try to make the characters like Arkayna more likeable, and explore aspects of the show the orginal didn't... also, get rid of Gawayne. As for Mixels, I would have more worldbuilding, give the characters actual things to do, and this is a bit minor, but I would add female characters.

Hello there, MrAnimatedToon here and... I want to talk about something for a bit.
Like you may have already guessed, I'm a fan of ''The Loud House''. That's pretty much common knowledge by now. But that doesn't mean I don't have my problems with the show itself. But that's not a bad thing, after all, no cartoon show is perfect. But I've noticed a certain attitude in part of the show's fanbase that really irkes me. About how the characters in the show act.
There seems to be a portion of the fanbase that treats Lincoln as if he was some kind of saint. That none of the sisters should treat him badly, because then it's a demonstration of child abuse and parental favoritism. This portion of the fanbase is known by some as "Lincoln Worshippers", and this particular attitude is denominated "St. Lincoln". I for one, don't agree with this notion at all... but not for the reasons you might think. Don't get me wrong on this, I love Lincoln. He's a great protagonist and he's very relatable. But he is nowhere near a perfect child, he has made some bad actions over the course of the show. But that doesn't make him hateable. I'd rather say that it makes him human. Because I don't mind characters I love acting selfish from time to time. After all, nobody is perfect. However, this portion of the fandom doesn't seem to recognize this. Which I don't get, because not only is it impossible and unrealistic for a sibling (or in this case, a bunch of siblings) to get along 24/7, but because I'm pretty sure the Loud sisters have better things to do than please their brother's desires. Also, if you have seen the show, you'll notice that Lincoln doesn't really mind all the stuff that happens to him. Not only because he has a thick skin, but because he seems to genuinely enjoy spending time with his family. He hangs out with them, feels bad whenever he wrongs them, and there are even times where Lincoln joins on his sisters shenanigans, proving that he's not so above it all. So I don't understand why people who watch the show have a problem with Lincoln being supposedly "mistreated" when even the character himself doesn't seem to mind (and don't try to use "Stockholm Syndrome" as an excuse, because if ''Driving Miss Hazy'' and ''City Slickers'' showed us something, is that he's not afraid on calling people out on their crud.
That was the part of the fanbase that everyone complains about. But now I'm gonna talk about the other portion of the fanbase that no one seems to have a problem with (with the exception of a few others) but that personally irkes me just as bad, if not, worse than the "St. Linc" does. That part is the one that seems to do the opposite of "St. Linc", pin all the blame on Lincoln but put the sisters always in the right. To save some time, my opinion on the sisters is basically the same as Lincoln, they're all great characters and I enjoy them all a lot. But I've noticed some people defending the sisters saying that all the times Lincoln has suffered, he brings it into himself, and that everyone who critizices the thing that happen to him and blame the sisters for it are either Lincoln worshippers, biased, and in some cases, misoginystic. I find this attitude just as wrong as the above for a couple of reasons:
1. The people who show this complains might actually have a point. I'm not saying that Lincoln should be treated like a god, but I am saying that some of the instances where he gets the short end of the stick could be dialed down a bit. Which thankfully, as of Season 3, it's happening a little.
2. To me, that's hypocritical. It's basically like saying that people should not have opinions unless it's my own.
3. What does hating the way a certain character is treated have to do with sexism? I don't care if someone has other gender than mine, everyone should be treated equally, no matter gender, race or belief.
And that's my biggest problem with the fanbase. When it comes to defending a character, it's always one way, or another. And it wouldn't matter to so much, except that this seems to be a problem from this fanbase only. And maybe I'm wrong on this. Maybe it's just because of my overexposure to the fandom recently. But I feel this is one of the reasons why everyone has a bad opinion on our fanbase lately.
